Reid Snellenbarger, a seasoned professional with over 20 years of restructuring and capital markets experience, calls Chicago his base of operations. Reid serves as a Senior Managing Director at SOLIC Capital Advisors where he focuses on providing capital structure solutions and related investment banking services to companies and creditors in a variety of industries. His experience includes resolving complex needs of clients via liability management, capital raisings, recapitalizations, mergers and acquisitions, and restructurings.

His notable achievements include steering Briggs & Stratton through the sale of the company and securing third-party DIP financing in Chapter 11, facilitating the sale of Armstrong Holdings in Chapter 11, managing the sale of Ditech Mortgage in Chapter 11, overseeing TPG Mortgage REIT’s successful capital raise, and playing a key role in the complete recapitalization of Cooper Standard for certain lenders. Reid has also navigated consensual out-of-court liability management transactions for Yak Access and Mortgage Contract Servicing.

Formerly a Managing Director at Houlihan Lokey, Reid held senior positions in the Financial Restructuring Group and was a key member of the Technical Standards Committee. As a senior member of the world’s largest restructuring practice, he was responsible for over $100 billion in aggregate restructuring and M&A transactions. His practice centered around handling acquisitions and divestitures of unique assets, capital raising initiatives, and negotiations involving liability management or restructuring of private and public securities. This expertise extends to both Chapter 11 and out-of-court situations for large public and private companies.

Outside of his professional achievements, Reid dedicated his time to community service as a Board member of Make-A-Wish Illinois. Armed with a B.S. in Finance, Reid Snellenbarger is a dynamic professional with a proven track record in navigating complex financial landscapes.
